CORRIGENDUM

 

Sub:        Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the    Cadre of Postal Service Group 'B' 2009 to be held on 3rd & 4th May 2010.

 

Sir/Madam, 

 

            I am directed to refer to this office letter No. A-34020/15/2009-DE dated 4th February 2010 on the above-mentioned subject.

2.         The following corrigendum is issued: -

(i)                 To read column 2 of Annexure-II the last date of submission of applications by eligible candidates is 02-03-2010.

(ii)               To read Para 3(ii) as "Clerical line officials working in Post Offices/Postal Divisional Offices with 5 years regular service in the Lower Selection Grade (LSG) and above as on 1.1.2008.

so long as the eligibility criteria is relaxed, this exam will not be beneficial to the deserving candidates.Relaxation of number of years to 3 years and crucial date to 01.01.2010 is the only solution.

how can this be the only solution.probably, this solution can fetch benefit to this anonymous comrade. The real solution is to permit all PAs of having 20 years of service. No need to be a LSG official because in more than 99% LSG grade is granted on the verge of retirement (or while the official is taken to the graveyard)..LSG is not connected with ones creativity, ability or knowledge. But simply depends upon the availability of such LSG posts. Still now hundreds of LSG/HSGII/HSGI posts are kept vacant or manned by TBOP/BCR PAs. what can we do. chandrababu accountant, adur kerala
