DOPT ORDERS ON PARTICIPATION OF CG EMPLOYEES IN SPORTING EVENTS AND TOURNAMENTS OF NATIONAL AND
INTERNATIONAL IMPORTANCE
DOPT Order classifies as what should be termed as achieving excellence for eligibilitiy to get incentive increment. Accordingly only the persons or teams reaching the 1st and 2nd and 3rd positions in the finals of the events in which more than three individuals or teams contend are eligible for incentive increment. If in an event only less than three individuals or teams participate then only one individual or team reaching the 1st position is to be considered as attained excellence and eligible for incentive increment.
