sir

once again congrats from all the postal & RMS fraternity.

the govt was indeed compelled to give the decision infavour of us, enhancing the limit to Rs 3500/-from 2006 in accordance with the Government gazzette notificatio issued earlier.

but once again, undoubtedly the credit goes to all india union and confederation for having persued the matter at all stages since the date of issue of gazzette notification and in getting this materialied

just dont relax with this achievement as the matter pertaining to continuaion of arbitraray 60 days cap for postal department is yet to be got settled.

the matter may be vigourosly persued and ensure that the cap is got removed. afterall we do not like keeping "TOPI" from the Department.

the removal of cap would not only result in higher bonus to our staff this year but also ensure that such restriction is not to be applied in the future.

Dear Comrade sikanth - yes we can't afford to relax now as our mission is not yet over. We should ensure that there is no cap on Postal PLB - The problem is partly because of the inability to prepare a revised PLB Formula by the Department of Posts as directed by the MOF and partly because of our inability to get the unilateral cap removed in the existing formula itself - This issue would be given top priority by us ntil the cap is removed and justice rendered to Postal Employees.
