BONUS INJUSTICE TO BE FOUGHT WITH ALL MIGHT

GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT DISCRIMINATE
 
POSTAL AND ALL CG EMPLOYEES GIVEN 2500/= CEILING
 
GOVERNMENT MAY ENHANCE CEILING TO 3500/= FOR RAILWAYMEN
 
CABINET MEETING ON 3.10.2008 LIKELY TO ENHANCE CEILING TO RAILWAYMEN
 
60 DAYS ARBITRARY CAP FOR POSTAL PLB ALSO  NOT REMOVED
 
DOUBLE DISCRIMINATION FOR POSTAL EMPLOYEES
 
 
Dear Comrades! There is every indication that the Union Government wants to behave like a step mother - We are getting feed back that the Cabinet meeting on 3.10.2008 is goint to enhance the ceiling of bonus from 2500/= to 3500/- only for Railway Employees. This will be gross discrimination - Discrimination against the Postal and all other CG Employees as we are all given only 2500/- ceiling. For Postal Employees there is double discrimination because the arbitrary 60 days cap is continued but for Railway no such cap is applied. This is clear step motherly treatment that could not be tolerated.
 
The entire CG Employees and the Postal Employees jointly jumped into a 7 days indefinite strike action in October 1996, when the union Government resorted to such a discriminatory action between the Railwaymen and the rest. Let us not forget that glorious tradition. If the Government wants to forget the past experience then we have to show them that the Postal Employees and the rest of CG Employees have not forgotten the tradition.
 
NFPE is already consulting all other organisations in Postal Department - NFPE is interacting with the Confederation leaders - All General Secretaries and Federation Office Bearers are being consulted by the Federation Headquarters - All with the intention of deciding the move of agitation - form of agitation - to immediately counter the discriminatory action if any decided by the Cabinet by ignoring the Postal and other CG Employees on 3.10.2008 or before or later.
 
Let us strongly voice our opposition against any Step Motherly treatment of Government -
Let us hear the opinion of the leaders and rank & file at all levels -
All are requested to interact through your comments - emails - to suggest what form of action is to be taken by the Federation if the Government wants to discriminate.
 
React - React immediately - React sharply.

Immediate demonstrations b4 workspot at all levels. Telegrams be sent to PRIME MINISTER AND FINANCE MINISTER.Rally to Raj Bhavan and simultaneously to PMO. After seeing the response at the grossroot level,further programme be finalised.Strike on every discrimination and in every month will not have the backing of the masses.

dear comrades,
not enhancing of PL Bonus ceiling to Rs.3500/- from Rs. 2500/- this year and also not removing of cap of 60 days is, created a disppointment to all postal employees. all the unions of postal dept. jointly take the issue to the notice of govt. for positive respons.

Respected Comrade,thanx for informing the discriminative attitude of the Govtt.Perhaps Hon,ble Minister , Railway has taken special interest for Rly staff & UPA Govt. has to oblise Mr. Laloo Yadab for differentissues.Comrade you have narrated as double discrimination but if we will consider todays holiday for Rly staff as Idd that results Tripple discrimination.That is the reason for holding Cabinet meeting on 3.10.08 i/c/w Railway bonous. The steps taken by Hon,ble Laloo regarding increase of Revenue, regularization of kooli to Gr-D , declaring leave for Idd and increase of Bonus ceilng for Rly staff not only increases the popularity of Laloo but also prooves him as most efficient and capable Minister to Manage the vast Department .Leaders at Delhi are requested to negotiate with our Hon'ble Minister to enhance the ceilng otherwise we may refuse to take Bonus that will pressurise the Govt. to do something like revision of Pay of Defence Deptt.

Sir,

We should always be prepared for fighting against any step motherly treatment of the government. All ready the governemnt showed step mother treatment in 6th cpc. We should not keep quite, we are all always along with you sir.
