KERALA CIRCLE GDS (NFPE)
CONVENTION
NFPE Kerala C-O-C organized Circle level Convention
of GDS employees on 26th January 2016 at Kotayam. Com.P.Karunakaran MP,
Chairman of NFPE COC Kerala and Parliamentary Party Leader of CPIM in Loksabha
inaugurated the Convention. Com. M. Krishnan Secretary General, Confederation
and Com, Panduranga Rao General Secretary AIPEU GDS(NFPE) made the key note address. Comrades , P.V,Rajendran
convenor COC Kerala, M.S.Sabu Circle Secretary AIPEU GDS, P.K. Muralidheran Circle
Secretary- P3, A.B.Lalkumar C/s P4, C.M.Rravindanath C/s R4, M.P.Vijayan C/s Postal
A/Cs, GIreesh Sekhar C/s AISBCOSA ,Gangadhran BSNLEU addressed the Convention .
Com. Jacob Thomas vice chairman COC presided. Com Rajesh Mannath delivered vote
of thanks.
700 delegates participated in the
convention from the entire Postal and RMS divisions of Kerala circle. Delegates
from all divisions participated in the discussion and strongly protested
against the unilateral decision of NDA Govt to form officer level GDS
committee by rejecting the demands of NFPE and AIPEU GDS. The convention also
decided to participate in the indefinite strike from 2016 March by NJCA and make it grand success, Rajendran. P.V.
