ALL INDIA SUPREME COUNCIL MEETING OF AIGDSU AT ABTA HALL, KOLKATA (WEST BENGAL) 22/23 FEBRUARY-2025
Supreme Council Meeting of AIGDSU is successfully over here in West Bengal. This meeting cheerfully and unanimously approved the merger of AIPEUGDS, NFPE with AIGDSU. The cycle is completed today. Total Delegates attended= 227. Out of 28 Circles, 25 attended.
However, 3 vacant posts have been filled up as below:
1) Working President: Najrul Islam/ West Bengal
2) AGS: K G Niar/ Kerala.
3) Org secretary: M Srinivasarao/ A.P.Circle.
Initially it was our understanding that 2 special invitees (with all privileges except voting rights) will be taken. However, at our request it has been increased to 3. Assam/HP/Gujrat.
Com Tapan Bhowmik has been recognised as senior advisor.
Apart from others, one important resolution has been moved and adopted to take part in any kind of united movement across the country in coming days decided by Central Trade Unions/ Confederation against the anti-labour, anti-people policies of Central Go
