Sub:   Preventive Measures to fight against Corona Virus

Sir,
As you are well aware that every where Corona Virus affected patients are being detected. DOPT has already issued instructions vide O.M. No. 13014/1/2020dated 06.03.2020 for exemption of employees to mark biometric attendance in Government Offices.

In our Department Aadhar enrolment and updation work is being carried out in the Post Offices  except single handed SOs, in which the finger print scanner is touched by each person who comes for either enrollment or updation and the same is also touched by the operator. This may be the one of the major cause of speed of Corona Virus if unfortunately any Corona affected person comes for Aadhar work.

Like wise the opening of IPPB Accounts and delivery of articles through mobile by the Postman is also cause of concern and may leads to spread of Corona Virus.

It is therefore, requested to kindly cause suitable instructions to discontinue the above mentioned services temporarily till normalcy restores.

Further it is also requested that all preventive measures should be adopted to prevent spread of Corona Virus and proper Masks, Gloves and Sanitizer etc. may be provided to the staff.

An early action is highly solicited.

With regards,
                                                          Yours Sincerely,

                                                          (R.N. Parashar)

Sub:   Regarding postponement of MTS Examination scheduled to be held on 15th March-2020 as a preventive measure to stop spread of Corona Virus.

Sir,
Your kind attention is invited towards spread of Corona Virus throughout the Country. The Department of Post has scheduled MTS Examination throughout the Country in which people will assemble at Examination Centres in large number and it will be very risky. If any candidate affected by Corona Virus comes in Centre than it may spread in large number.

In such situation it is highly appreciable if this examination is postponed till restoration of normalcy.

An early action is highly solicited.

With regards,
                                                            Yours Sincerely,

                                                              (R.N. Parashar)
