1.         Xth Federal Council
           
            Xth Federal Council of NFPE will be held from 7th to 09th September, 2016 at Guwahati. Venue - District Library Auditorium , Pan Bazar Guwahati (Assam). All affiliated unions have been intimated about the number of Federal Councilors. All General Secretaries are requested to finalize the names of Federal Councilors and ask them to book their journey tickets to avoid inconvenience. TA/DA to the Federal Councilors will be paid by respective unions. No delegate fee for Federal Councilors will be paid to Reception Committee. However for visitors delegate fee Rs 1500/- will have to be paid.

2.         Confederation National Conference and Women Convention.

            Diamond Jubilee National Conference of Confederation will be held from 16th to 18th August -2016 at Chennai. All General Secretaries are requested to finalize the names of delegates to participate as per number allotted by Confederation and they should be asked to book their journey tickets immediately.Other than delegates visitors can also  be asked to participate.

            All India Women Convention will also be held on 19th August-2016 in midst of National Conference. All General Secretaries are requested to depute maximum number of lady Comrades to participate in Women Convention. The TA/DA of Women Comrades should be borne by the respective Circle Unions.
           
            Delegate Fee for National Conference has  been fixed as Rs.1000/- Only.For Women Convention Delegate fee has been fixed as Rs.500/-..

3.         NJCA Dharna and demonstration on 24th June-2016 at New Delhi.
           
            NJCA (Railway, Defence, and Confederation & Postal) has decided to organize Massive Dharna & demonstration at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on 24th June-2016 to protest the delay in implementation of 7th CPC Report after modification sought by NJCA.

            All the affiliates of NFPE  from neighboring  Circles  are requested to make  maximum efforts to mobilize  the  members  to participate  in Dharna and  demonstration as [per  quota allotted to them as mentioned below:

             Delhi                         :           500
            UP                              :           500
            Haryana                    :           300
            Punjab                       :           300
            Uttarakhand             :           100
            Rajasthan                 :           200
            HP                              :           100

4.         Indefinite Strike from 11th July-2016:

            On the call of NJCA, the Notice for Indefinite Strike from 11th July, 2016 has been served at all level on 9th June-2016. The Government of India does not seem to be serious about implementation of Pay Commission recommendations after makng modifications as sought by NJCA. Therefore all affiliated unions of NFPE are requested to make all efforts to mobilize all employees to participate in the strike and make it historic success.

2nd September-2016 Countrywide General Strike:

            On the call of Independent Federations countrywide General Strike will be conducted on 2nd September -2016 against the anti-people economic policies of Government of India. More than 15 crores workers will participate in the strike. All affiliates of NFPE are requested to make all efforts to make the Strike Grand Success in Postal Department.
