  1. Dear sir,

This is to say that there should be a minimum basic pay attached to every Grade pay. When an employee is promoted to a higher cadre he should get that minimum basic pay + GP attached to the post whether there is an element of direct recruitment or not. if the employee has already crossed the above minimum basic pay attached to the new post he should get one increment in the scale + new GP.

Please note that the pay commission proposed runing pay bands to employees to eliminate stagnation only. It doesn't mean that there should not a mimimum basic pay attached to each post whether it is a direct recruited post or promotion post.

Please argue the above points in the next anomally committee meeting.
    your comments are expected.

  2. Sir,

It is a must that a minimum basic pay shuld be attached to each Grade Pay. When an employee promoted to a higher cadre he should get that minimum basic + GP attached to that post whether the post have an element of direct recruitment or not. If the employee already crossed the said minimum basic pay he should get one increment in the present stage + new G.P. This should be emphasised at the anomaly committee meeting.

  3. Dear Comrade - yes that is the stand of NFPE and Confederation also - The demand placed before the National Anomaly Committee is clearly aimed at getting that minimum basic + Grade Pay of each direct recruit category of employees to each and every employee of the cadre - Discussions still on in the Anomaly Committee tn ensure this - Regards
