Subject: - Guidelines for transfer to regulate transfers of Group ‘C' officials, Group 'B' (non-gazetted) officials and Assistant Superintendent of Posts (Group 'B' Gazetted)-reg.

Madam/Sir,

I am directed to refer to Directorate communication no. 141-141/2013-SPBII dated 17.01.2019 on the above-mentioned subject, which inter alia provides guidelines to regulate request of Temporary Transfer (both Inter-Circle and Intra Circle). Subsequently, provisions were modified vide communication no. X12/6/2021-SPN-II-DOP(Part) dated 02.09.2021, it was conveyed that An Official will be eligible for Inter-Circle / Intra-Circle temporary transfer after completion of one year of service.

2.         Directorate is in receipt of a few cases for relaxation of ONE YEAR Service condition for Temporary Transfer in case of PwBD officials. The matter has been examined and the Competent Authority has decided that the minimum service criteria of one year for temporary transfer shall not be required in the case of PwBD Officials.

All other content of the guidelines issued vide letter no. X-12/6/2021- SPN-II-DOP(Part) dated 02.09.2021, remains same.

 3.        These instructions shall come in force with immediate effect.
