BRIEF REPORT OF THE DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATION AND STATE STUDY CAMP OF CONFEDERATION (COC) KERALA

            Kerala COC organised 2days state level study camp Diamond Jubilee celebration at Calicut on 5th and 6th December 2016. Hon. Labour Minister, Com. T. P. Ramakrishnan inaugurated the function. Com. V. Sreekumar state President presided. Veteran Confederation leaders were honoured by the Minister in that function. Classes on various subjects were conducted by eminent personalities. Com. M. Krishnan Secretary General, presented the subject "60 years struggle history of Confederation", Prof. T. A. Ushakumari presented "problems of women employees", Com. P. K. Premnath “Secularism and its Present state" in different sessions. Com. V. T. Murali, famous musician inaugurated the cultural meeting on 5^th evening. On 6th morning a trade union seminar was conducted on the subject "25 years neo liberal economic policies and its impacts". Com. Elamaram Kareem state Gen. Secretary of CITU inaugurated the seminar. Com. K. K. N. Kutty All India President of Confederation delivered the key note address. Comrade Sulatha Kudathingal FSETO and V. Bhagyalakshmi BSNLEU spoke on the subject in the seminar. Com. A. K. Ramesh before presided. Comrade P. V. Rajendran G/S COC Kerala and Premraj EPFEU made welcome speech and vote of thanks. Reception committee arranged various cultural programmes including drama and musical events on 5th night. 400 delegates representing 14 district committees and affiliated organisations attended the camp.
