Sub: Secretary (P)'s meeting with Postal Joint Council of Action held on 12.07.2010-Item No. 10(C) mentioning about all issues relating to Postmen.
This has reference to minutes of meeting held on 12.07.2010 under the Chairpersonship of Secretary (P), circulated vide No. 08/02/2010 dated 14.07.2010 on the above mentioned subject.
2. Against Item No.10(C), it was minuted that all issues relating to Postmen will be discussed separately. Accordingly a Committee comprising the following is constituted.

3. The following issues relating to the Postmen and which were raised in the meeting of the Departmental Council (JCM) held on 27.08.2010 were ordered to be transferred to the above Committee for consideration.
(i) Extraction of data entry work from Postmen.
(ii) Irregular computation of working hours for Postmen in field units.
(iii) Renewal of minimum cycleable distance for grant of Cycle Maintenance Allowance to Postmen.
1. The Committee will submit its report within three months of its constitution.
