8th Federal Council closes with a resolve to carry forward the struggle for justice
The 8th Federal Council of NFPE has elected the following Office Bearers unanimously for the ensuing term:

The Federal Council was addressed by the Special Guest Dr.Uday Balakrishnan Postal Services Board Member [PLI].
The Federal Council witnessed intense discussions on the issues of Postal Employees and CG Employees in particular. The ensuing indefinite strike from July 2010 was the subject matter of thorough discussion and the Federal Council unanimously resolved to make the industrial action of Postal JCA a resounding success through the involvement of our entirety of rank and file.
The Policy and Programme of the Federation and several Resolutions on common and sectional issues have been adopted in the Council.
