NFPE P-4 CHQ ORGANISES ALL INDIA TRADE UNION CAMP IN MUMBAI - 20th & 21st MAY 2010


























MUMBAI TRADE UNION CAMP – CUM – WORKSHOP – CUM - SEMINAR



An All India level Study camp was organised by the P4 CHQ in Mumbai from 20th May to 21st May, 2010. The Reception Committee headed by the Divisional Union of Mumbai GPO made all arrangements for the successful conduct of the Study Camp. Maharashtra Circle Union assisted the CHQ in running the Study camp.

More than 150 Delegates from all over India participated in the camp. Almost all CHQ office bearers and all 18 Circle Secretaries participated. Delegates from 19 Circles attened. No representation from U.P; Haryana; and J&K Circles in the Study camp. There was an inaugural session on the forenoon of 20th May presided over by Comrade R.Seethalakshmi CHQ Vice President. Comrade C.B.Surve Circle Secretary P4 Maharashtra presented the welcome address. Comrade J.R.Banne Divisional Secretary Mumbai GPO and other office bearers have garlanded all the leaders. Comrade D.K.Rahate NFPE President inaugurated the session. Comrades K.Ragavendran SG NFPE; K.V.Sridharan GS P3; Ishwar Singh Dabas GS P4; B.G.Tamhankar former NFPE President; M.R.Meenakshisundaram Retired HSG-I Supervisor; Rajkumar NFPE Treasurer; Mangesh Parab AGS P3 CHQ; D.P.Diwakar Senior leader from Rajasthan; M.Neelappa Senior leader from Karnataka and many other leaders addressed the session . Shri.Manohar Panchal Corporate greeted the session and was honoured by the Reception Committee through garlanding him by the Secretary General NFPE.

The P&T Trade Union History class was taken by Comrade K.Ragavendran Secretary General.
Conduct Rules and Disciplinary Proceedings was taken by Comrade M.R.Meenakshisundaram Retired HSG-I Supervisor and Defense assistant.
Staff Rulings and Project Arrow was presented by Comrade K.V.Sridharan General Secretary P3.
RTI Act class was taken by Comrade B.G.Tamhankar former NFPE President.

P4-CHQ had circulated printed materials on the subjects of the Trade Union classes to all the Delegates and participants. The general impression amongst the participants was that the classes were highly useful and such classes have to be organised circle wise for all NFPE affiliates.
