MOF ORDERS ON CHANGE OF GRADE PAY - NO IMPACT ON POSTAL CADRES

MINISTRY OF FINANCE ORDERED GRANT OF 4600/- GRADE PAY FOR ERSTWHILE 6500-10500 SCALE HOLDERS

THERE WILL BE NO IMPACT ON THE POSTAL EMPLOYEES WHO ARE HSG-I / HSG-II / BCR DUE TO THIS RECENT ORDERS
 
POSTAL HSG-I HAVE BEEN DIRECTLY RECOMMENDED BY 6TH CPC FOR PLACEMENT IN GRADE PAY 4600/- CORRESPONDING TO ERSTWHILE 7450-11500 AND THEREFORE NO NEW IMPACT BY THE PRESENT ORDERS
 
POSTAL HSG-II / BCR HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE AMALAGAMATED PAY SCALES OF 5000-8000; 5500-9000; AND 6500-10500 AS RECOMMENDED BY 6TH CPC IN GRADE PAY 4200/- AND THEREFORE NO IMPACT ON THESE EMPLOYEES PAY SCALES ALSO DUE TO THE PRESENT MOF ORDERS

  1. comrade i would like to know whether persons who were in pre revised 5500-900 will be benefited from this 4600 Grade pay or else they will be drawing the same GP kindly clarify me comrade

Dear Comrade Jagannathan - Greetings - No, the officials in 5500-9000 will have no impact due to this order - only those officials in erstwhile 6500-10500 whose pay was not upgraded to 7450- 11500 would be given 4600 GP now - In our case all officials in erstwhile 6500-10500 [HSG-I] have alrelady been upgraded into 7450-11500 level by CPC - So now no impact for our employees - Regards

  3. Please intimate whether any impact will be there to IPOs Grade pay from present 4200 to 4600 as they are being placed on par with other inspector of central services having the pay scale of 6500-10500 by the 6th pay commission

Dear Sir - The Pay Commission recommended merger of pre-revised S9 to S12 scales and that was offered to IPOs in 4200 Grade Pay and simultaneously the level of ASPOs raised to 7450-11500 level in Grade pay of 4600/- - Therefore the present MOF orders do not change the Grade Pay of IPOs according to our understanding - Regards
