LET US GET THE DISCRIMINATION AGAINST GDS REMOVED

THE STRUGGLE IS NOT YET OVER

KEEP THE TEMPO IN CIRCLES AND DIVISIONS AND BRANCHES

BRING ALL CIRCLES TO UNIFORM TEMPO

STILL SOME CIRCLES INCLUDING DELHI NO MASS MOVEMENT STARTED ON THIS ISSUE - LET ALL SUCH CIRCLES AND DIVISIONS AND BRANCHES BECOME ACTIVE AND START CONDUCTING DEMONSTRATIONS AT ALL WORK SPOTS AND SEND TELEGRAMS TO HONOURABLE MINISTERS IMMEDIATLY.

ISSUE IS NOT YET OVER – CONTINUE THE PROGRAMME AT FIELD LEVEL – KEEP THE TEMPO – CREATE PREPAREDNESS FOR INTENSIVE ACTION IF NEED BE – HOLD DEMONSTRATIONS ETC DAILY UNTIL THE DISCRIMINATION ON BONUS CEILING AGAINST GDS IS ENDED.

ALL GENERAL SECRETARIES AND SECRETARY GENERAL OF NFPE & FNPO AND SOME OTHER CHQ OFFICE BEARERS OF GDS CHQ PARTICIPATED IN THE INDEFINITE FAST – COMRADE DES REJ SHARMA [EX-GS P4] INAUGURATED THE FAST – COMRADE R.A.P.SINGH [EX-GS P3] GARLANDED THE FASTING COMRADES – COMRADE KKN KUTTY [SG CONFEDERATION]; COMRADE S.K.VYAS [PRESIDENT CONFEDERATION]; AND COMRADE C.C.PILLAI [WORKING PRESIDENT CONFEDERATION] GREETED THE FAST. COMRADE VRIGU BHATTACHARJEE SECRETARY GENERAL CIVIL ACCOUNTS & CONFEDERATION ORG SECRETARY ADDRESSED AND CONCLUDED THE FAST ON 17TH EVENING.

HECTIC NEGOTIATIONS WITH VARIOUS OFFICERS INCLUDING MEMBER [P] ON BOTH THE DAYS WERE CONDUCTED BY COMRADES K.RAGAVENDRAN [SG NFPE]; D.THEAGARAJAN [SG FNPO]; K.V.SRIDHARAN [GS P3 & STAFF SIDE LEADER]; AND S.S.MAHADEVAIAH [GS GDS]. THE ORDER THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED IS BEING DEFENDED BY SOME OFFICERS AND THEY TAKE A LINE TO REFER THE ISSUE TO FINANCE FOR CLARIFICATION - WE MAINTAINED THAT NO NEED TO REFER TO FINANCE - THE BATTLE IS YET TO BE OVER - THE SECRETARY [P] COMING BACK ONLY ON TUESDAY - THE OFFICERS WHO YESTERDAY AND TODAY MORNING AGREED TO ISSUE A REVISED ORDER THEN BACKED OUT STATING THAT WIHOUT SECRETARY [P] CONSENT THEY CANNOT DO THAT – MEMBER [P] ULTIMATELY YESTERDAY EVENING STATED THAT THE 15th OCTOBER ORDER SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ISSUED IN THAT MANNER SINCE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME SUCH A CEILING ORDER HAD BEEN ENDORSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF POSTS, WE SHOULD HAVE DONE AS DONE IN THE PAST.

MEMBER [P] SYMPATHETIC TO THE ISSUE BUT BEFORE SECRETARY [P] COMING BACK FROM FOREIGN TRIP NO DECISION COULD BE TAKEN. IT IS ASSURED TO EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING A DECISION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF POSTS ON SECRETARY'S RETURN WITHOUT REFERRING THE ISSUE TO FINANCE. WE DO NOT KNOW AS YET WHAT WOULD BE THE FINAL DECISION OF POSTAL DEPARTMENT IN THIS MATTER VIZ., TO DECIDE BY SECRETARY [P] LEVEL OR TO GO FOR FINANCE?

JCA UNANIMOUSLY DECIDED TO END THE HEAQUARTERS INDEFINITE FAST BEFORE DAK BHAWAN AND INSTEAD START HOLDING OFFICE WISE DEMONSTRATIONS IN POSTAL AND RMS OFFICES OF DELHI CIRCLE UPTO TUESDAY.

PROTESET DEMONSTRATIONS – HUNGER FAST PROGRAMMES – SENDING FAX / TELEGRAM   WERE SUCCESSFUL IN MANY CIRCLES – POSTAL JCA CONGRATULATES ALL OF THEM AND REQUESTS THEM TO CARRY FORWARD FURTHER AND HOLD THE TEMPO.

POSTAL JCA DECIDED TO CALL UPON ALL OTHER CIRCLES ALSO TO START HOLDING STRONG DEMONSTRATIONS AND SEND FAX / TELEGRAM TO HONOURABLE MINISTERS OF COMMUNICATIONS [ADDRESS AND FAX NUMBER OF MINISTERS ARE AVAILABLE IN THIS WEBSITE]

ALL GENERAL SECRETARIES AND SECRETARIES GENERAL WILL MEET THE SECRETARY [P] ON TUESDAY.

POSTAL JCA APPRECIATES THE CIRCLES – DIVISIONS – BRANCHES – AND EMPLOYEES FOR THEIR MAGNIFICENT EXHIBITION OF SOLIDARITY TO GDS BY HOLDING FAST, DEMONSTRATIONS ETC AT ALL LEVELS YESTERDAY AND TODAY – AND CALL UPON ALL TO TAKE UPON THEMSELVES THE TASK OF NOT ONLY MAINTAINING THE TEMPO CREATED BY THEM BUT INTENSITY THE TEMPO FURTHER TO GUARD AGAINST ANY NEGATIVE DECISIONS ON THIS ISSUE.
