  1. while the unions have given a call for indefinite strike, why are they too anxious to have the notification issued, for one thing we all know the major recommendations including the rate of increment, inc on promotion. I feel irrespective what the recommendations are the unions should go on a massive plan to go on strike since it is a common knowledge that employees have been cheated to say the least.

  3. Bhaskar is correct,We the central govt. staff lower level group ‘C’ has been cheated by UPA government. Where is review committee's report (CoS) headed by cabinet secretary with all departmental secretaries? We have every right to know the views of CoS. Are we fool? Approving a rejected 6th PC reports by all sectors from march’08, how UPA govt. demanding it as an Independence Day gift? This may treated as biggest cheating after Independence!

  4. Comrade,
Confederation website says that strike is to be planned in December. There is a Parliment session in the month of October. Give the strike call in the month of October

  5. An earnest appeal to all the Unions. Please plan the strike immediately that is when the subject is still under discussion and please do not let it cool off. I wonder why the unions are planning for a december stike. Comrades just compare and find out for yourself the DA in the revised pay scale will be less than that of the new scale i.e. one gets atleast Rs.200 less in DA which means the new pay scales are atleast 10% lowered and done deliberately. I think employees are caught in vicious cycle of unions and Government and also their own indifference towards their own cause. We all paid a price for being so.
