DATE OF EFFECT IS FROM 1.9.2008
UPTO 31.08.2008 OFFICIALS WILL BE COVERED BY THE EXISTING SCHEMES AND FROM 1.9.2008 THE MODIFIED ACP SCHEME WILL BE EFFECTIVE

Did the meeting with Administration take place on 23.05.09?. If so what is the outcome?. If not when it will be held?.
Dear Comrade Kanivel - NFPE delegation discussed in detail about extending the Modified ACP issue to Postal Employees with the Officers in the Postal Directorate on 25.05.2009. The Department wants another letter from the Federations seeking implementation of Modified ACP as per the orders of the DOPT to facilitate immediate processing of the file with the DOPT.. NFPE would be submitting its letter today. On clearence of the file by the DOPT, the Department of Posts will issue orders but the date of effect in any case will be 1.9.2008. Regards.

As per your reply above, action has already been done to enroll Postal Employee in to purview of Modified ACP Scheme. I am Sorting Assistant entering service on 19.01.1994. What would be the date for my case for getting MACP -I , II & III
Sir, Kindly give some illustration how the Modified ACP help to get financial benifit to an employee(PA) completing 14 years services.

Dear Comrades Sumit and Anjali - the scheme of Modified ACP is for providing upgradation on completion of 10, 20 and 30 years of regular service if no regular promotion is available to them. As Anjali has completed more than 10 years of service she will be getting her first ACP from 1.9.2008 and naturally her second ACP will be as and when she completes her 20 years of regualr service. And for Sumit also same apply.
